If the operator requires complete Control System Upgrades and Retrofits, GTS ICE control solutions are designed specifically for the Upgrade and Retrofit of SGT / Ruston Gas Turbine controls and are easily adapted to site specific requirements.

- Interfaces to the existing field devices
GTS ICE PLC Softwares:
- Proven PLC software with excess of 150,000 turbine running hours on installed systems
- Existing sequencing and protection functionality will be replicated
- Enhancements will be implemented, and the software modified to incorporate any other changes to the fire and gas, VGV, vibration and fuel systems
- PLC programming utilises ladder logic and structured text
- Various security features prevent unauthorised modifications
GTS ICE HMI:
- Interfaces directly with the Allen Bradley PLC without the need for RSLinx
- Clearer display with more data accessible with 4 mimics per page on the TCM screen (17”) and 6 mimics per page on a widescreen desktop HMI screen (26”)
- The HMI PC can act as a remote monitoring server
- Digital Output Forcing
- Full access to PLC parameters
- Additional HMI PC’s can be set up easily without significant license costs
Vibration Monitoring Upgrade:
- Utilises either Bently Nevada 3500, Allen Bradley XM or Sensonics vibration monitoring hardware
Incorporate Other Upgrades:
- The new control system can work without needing to change any existing field devices
- Alternatively, the new control system (PLC hardware and software) simplifies the upgrade of other key equipment such as the Gas Fuel Valve, Liquid Fuel Valve, VGV and Fire and Gas system. Such upgrades can be carried out at the same time as the control system change or later if more convenient
